ITEMS OF INTEREST February 2008
Long Term Back Injury Healed: 2/28/08Diana B. told us...I had a car accident in 1990 and ended up with neck and back injuries. I was in physical therapy for these injuries for two years, with no relief at all. At the end of January I was worshiping and ended up in front for healing prayer, as I was being touched I could feel the Lord begin to work on me. My body started to shake and convulse and this lasted for two straight days, after the two days the pain was gone and now I am totally healed and have been for going on two months, Praise God. 2/14/2008: Tendinitis HealedSam A. told us...I had tendinitis in both elbows. I am a paint contractor and a painter and I use my arms continually. It got so painful that it got hard for me to go to work. I came forward after one Sunday’s service and Richard Larcombe prayed for me and as he was praying for me, you could hear one elbow pop and the pain went away immediately and I’ve been 95 – 98 % pain-free ever since. It has been wonderful. 2/3/2008: Eye pain healed after word of knowledgeIsaiah G. told us...A couple of weeks ago on a Thursday I woke up in the morning with an intense pressure behind my eye and it felt like it was going to pop out from the back. It hurt really really bad and it continued to hurt all the way until Sunday. During service, the pastor received a word from God and began to name things off. I almost leaned over said to my wife “ Oh he’s not going to say the eye thing”, expecting God didn’t even know what was wrong with me. And then he did say that if someone had pain in their eye they should raise their hand. So, I couldn’t help but raise my hand. I was surprised and thankful that God noticed me. People around me prayed. Nothing really changed. I felt a little better but not really all that much. Afterward, I leaned over to my wife and said “ it’s cool that God noticed me but why would He do that and not heal me”. So my wife prayed for me one more time and it went away completely and it was gone for good. |
