Seeing God Healing Revival Meetings Testimonies
March 19th to 22nd 2008

Richard reports...
Each of the 4 nights we were blessed to have a full house, with people visiting from many different churches around our valley. We're already being asked, by people as far away as 4 hours drive, when our next meetings are scheduled. In light of this we're praying about holding regular multi-church evangelistic healing meetings. We sense that it is just the beginning of something bigger.
There were scores of wonderful healings. Here are some of my favorite healing stories:
- A lady came in on Saturday night who was totally paralyzed down her right side from a stroke. She couldn't move her arm or her leg. We had a team pray for her during the worship time. She wept and wept as the Lord restored her right side completely. She could barely hold back the tears as she showed us all how she could now move her right arm and right leg with complete freedom!
- A guy, Jeremy, had had constant pain in his ankle for several years after a bad injury. Over that time he'd received prayer dozens of times. During the worship on Saturday night he couldn't work out why he felt no pain. He started hopping on it with all his weight to check: He was spontaneously healed during the worship. He testified about it on Sunday morning at church. He's delighted.
- A lady called Monica emailed me on Friday to tell me her swollen lymph nodes were totally healed. They'd been swollen for several months, the the doctors were concerned that it might indicate cancer. On Wednesday night as the team prayed she felt the power of God go through her body. Now the swelling is totally gone, and there is no pain at all.
- We called out a word of knowledge about someone with pain in a very specific spot on her back. The girl came forward, explaining that there was a pinched nerve in that spot, and she suffered from loss of feeling all the way down her legs and into her feet. We prayed for her in front of everyone, and there was a dramatic moment when she was instantly healed. She literally squealed as she felt the nerve released and her feeling was restored. She went walking and leaping and praising God!
- A woman with a very large ovarian cyst was healed. The girl praying for her could feel it shrinking each time she prayed. By the end of the service the cyst was gone, and so was the pain.
- Several people had hearing loss restored.
- A lady who was partially blind received a healing. In the morning she couldn't work out why everything was blurry. When she took off her glasses she realized she could see perfectly!
- Three or four people had lost or partially lost their sense of smell. We prayed for them, checking the progress with some perfume. They all told us they were healed and their sense of smell was restored to normal!
- Everyone we prayed for with TMJ (a jaw locking/cracking problem) was totally healed. I think it was 5 different people.
- Two people who had one leg shorter than the other were healed. I personally prayed for one of these people and watched their leg grow out about 3/4 of an inch to meet the other one. It was fantastic.
- A lady came in on a walker because she had mobility problems (I think it was related to arthritis). That day someone had given her an invitation to the meeting in a grocery store. She was totally healed, and left carrying her walker. She said she'd been praying about finding a church, and she happily told us she wanted to start coming to New Song!
During our meetings 17 people gave their hearts to Jesus and prayed to become Christians. (This is includes responses in the meetings, and out in the city through our outreach teams). I was personally hoping that more not-yet-Christians would attend the meetings. In the end the vast majority of people coming were church people, however I think it was an important time of encouragement and deepening of people's faith. My favorite moment was on the Saturday night. I was preaching a message called "See How Powerful He Is", and this was really a message for Christians... but the Lord had me stop mid-flow and ask: "Does anyone here need to get right with God and give their heart to Jesus?". One teenager stood up, and received Christ as his savior right in front of everyone. It was awesome!
We had an amnesty bin set up at the meetings called "The 'My Garbage' Bin". It was for people to anonymously drop in anything they felt God wanted them to repent of and get out of their lives permanently. Someone dropped in a gun! Another person dropped in their walking stick because they were healed and didn't need it anymore. Many people wrote out pledges to God and dealt with issues of personal holiness.
Root Canal Pain Healed: 3/06/08
Sarah told us...
On Sunday I was in extreme pain from two teeth that were needing root canals, so I asked for prayer after the service. The Lord healed my pain immediately and there has been no pain since that day, Praise God.
