Sunday Morning Pre-Service Prayer
Prayer Meeting Every Sunday at 10:30-11:00 a.m.
The Pre-Service Prayer Meeting is a meeting with special purpose. This group prayer time is a prayer focus specifically for the Sunday services and our pastors. We specifically cover in prayer the pastors, the worship leaders, and those involved in prayer ministry that day. We are asking for anointing, clarity, wisdom and power for these leaders. We are also asking for a spirit of revival in the church, for the manifested presence of the Lord, and for signs and wonders. We want God to show up! We sometimes receive words of knowledge while in prayer of illnesses or difficult situations in people's lives for those who are attending the services, which encourage people to receive from God for their need.
This prayer time is a fairly unstructured type of meeting, with some people praying for the entire 30 minutes, and others coming in for a few minutes of prayer. There is often an ebb and flow of anointing as many pray out in their prayer language. There is a rise and fall of volume, as some pray out with vigor and others sit in silence. Led by Ray and Marti Peterson, it is open to all who wish to attend. The only requirement is a desire to pray. This prayer meeting is presently held in the pre-school room which is to the right of the front doors. Come early to pray before the 11:00 service or stay after the 9:00 service. Let's pray for an open heaven over our church. (The Sunday night 6:00-6:30 p.m. prayer meeting is a prayer time held before the Sunday evening service with the same purpose and structure as the morning meeting.)
