A Simple Process for Spiritual Growth
At New Song Church our mission is revival: The personal, regional, and global expansion of God's Kingdom through His manifest presence. (We are part of a movement called Global Legacy, the relational network of Bethel Church in Redding).
In order to pursue our mission we have prayerfully developed a simple process for spiritual growth with four revival values:
- Enjoying God
- Loving Others
- Celebrating Giftings
- Releasing the Kingdom of Heaven
Enjoying God
Disciples of Jesus should we people who enjoy God.
We love what John Piper says about enjoying God: “God is most glorified in us, when we are most satisfied in him”. We believe the most important thing we can do as disciples is wholeheartedly pursue our happiness in God.

Loving Others
Disciples of Jesus should be people who love one another.
The New Testament is full of exhortations to love one another.
Here’s a great example: 1 John 4:19-21
“We love because he first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. And he has given us this command: Whoever loves God must also love his brother.”

Celebrating Giftings
Although we understand that all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit can work through every believer as we seek to continually experience and express the life of Jesus (releasing the Kingdom of Heaven, - our fourth core value), it is also true that God customizes our destiny with callings, passions and giftings unique to our personal life journey (See Rom. 12).
At New Song Church we want to serve you in the discovery and celebration of your serving ministry, your customized gifting and calling. The manifest presence of God increases in our lives, our homes, our church and our city as we respond to God by serving people through our giftings and callings.

Releasing the Kingdom of Heaven
Our fourth revival core value for spiritual growth is "Releasing the Kingdom of Heaven," which simply put means experiencing Jesus and expressing Jesus as a lifestyle.
