Internship Program

Introduction

"We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places. Therefore! ..." Ephesians 6:12-13 

This "therefore" was quickened to Pastor Dan Mickelson's spirit almost two years ago regarding the spirituality of our young people. He wanted to help develop them through spiritual and educational programs such as historical theology, practical Christian living centered around the Word of God, witnessing, etc.

The intern program was developed to accomplish these goals and much more.

At the present time we have four one hour classes. Theologies of CS Lewis taught by Dan Mickelson – Hearing God's Voice by James English – Angels by Marti Peterson and In the Beginning by Edwin Buckle.

Each student receives college credits through Rose City College.

The Director of Intern programs helps to determine the course calendar, recruit volunteer teachers and mentors working in accordance with Pastor Dan and Meagan, our church secretary.

We have seen solid results from these endeavors and are continually developing new programs to further educate our young people.

Leo Dahill is the Director of the Intern Program. He works closely with each intern, developing their ministry involvement and in mentoring.
