Sunday Night Pre-Service Prayer
Prayer Meeting Every Sunday at 6pm to 7pm
The Pre-Service Prayer Meeting is a meeting with special purpose. This group prayer time is a prayer focus specifically for the ministries of New Song Church. We specifically cover in prayer the pastors, the worship leaders, and those involved in prayer ministry that day - along with ministries and mission teams that are active that week. We are asking for anointing, clarity, wisdom and power for these leaders. We are also asking for a spirit of revival in the church, for the manifested presence of the Lord, and for signs and wonders. We want God to show up! We sometimes receive words of knowledge while in prayer of illnesses or difficult situations in people's lives for those who are attending the services, which encourage people to receive from God for their need.
This prayer time is a fairly unstructured type of meeting, with some people praying for the entire hour, and others coming in for a few minutes of prayer. There is often an ebb and flow of anointing as many pray out in their prayer language. There is a rise and fall of volume, as some pray out with vigor and others sit in silence. Led by Ray and Marti Peterson, it is open to all who wish to attend. The only requirement is a desire to pray. This prayer meeting is held in our prayer room which is up the stairs, first door on the left. Let's pray for an open heaven over our church.
