October 22nd, 2020

Hi Friends,
GREETINGS FROM SANTA BARBARA where Brenda and I are spending the week visiting daughter Charity and family. Having a very happy and relaxing time. Road trip home on Monday and Tuesday.
*BECAUSE THE ACTIVE JACKSON COVID-19 CASES are at their highest and that another church similar to ours had an outbreak of 18 cases (which is a bummer for those getting sick and also a stress factor for our community),
we are going to tightening things up a bit by starting the second Sunday morning service at 11:00 a.m. to minimize fellowship between services and keep it to just one hour like the 9:30 a.m. service. I recognize it is hard for many of us to go to church for just one hour but this is only for a season and It will help our worship teams, media personnel and preachers to be able to go for the long haul. Here’s to hoping we can be patient with these adjustments yet again. Please also minimize risk by doing your best to respect the 6 foot fellowship rule.

$11, 470 THAT’S THE AMOUNT WE HAVE GIVEN in the last 3 months to global missions, fire relief, and Jackson County ministries.

Here is what it is about!
Ministry : Learning Deliverance & Healing.
When Jesus came to earth, he not only came to bring judgement, but also came to bring mercy-salvation, deliverance, and healing, which are all manifestation of God’s mercy. Sometimes we think that our deliverance and healing are based on what we do and do not do, but deliverance and healing are based on mercy of God and God’s loving-kindness.
In John 10:31-38, Jesus talks about the works He was doing. He was healing the sick and casting out devils, doing the works of His Father and many Jews did not understand what was taking place. But he made it clear in this passage that these were the works of the Father and was not done on His own. What Jesus did was an extension of the Father – Healing, delivering, rescuing, and setting people free.
Jesus has commissioned us to continue to do the works of the Father.
Please come and join us.
